there is a story about rats that I heard on this american life once. it is told from the rats point of view. and they are in an apartment and they are waiting for their owner to come home. they’re both hungry and bored, and the story is about how the two rats (or maybe it was hamsters?) deal with being hungry and bored.
about how they become obsessed with their owner....

If its just that you “appreciate the culture” and “think its beautiful” why don’t I ever see fashion spreads of Native Americans dressed in the attire as it was meant to be worn? Why is it always shirtless white ladies in the desert with a cigarette in one hand and a bottle of whisky in the other?
